3D printing is one of the most popular technologies that are rapidly developed from time to time. Nowadays, the user can have their own 3D printer for the affordable price. For this project, using a 3D printer is another step after modeling. One of the major points is, the user can make fast rapid prototyping. Casting and molding method are not needed. Straight away model, slice, and finally print it. By using the 3D printer, the user creating objects that can be visualized rather than we see it on paper or electronic devices.
For this project, Rapid Prototyping was chosen. The reason for choosing this methodology is because this project doesn’t need any specific requirement. Rapid prototyping is a set of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembling by using 3D modeling software. For that, by using this methodology, it may reduce time and budget. This assembling method is usually done by using a 3D printer or Additive Layer Manufacturing Technology.

For the modeling section, I need to design at least 8 types of model that involve with, landmark, buildings and what are represented by UNITEN itself. This includes with UNITEN logo, solar car, buildings, and landmark.
